So the wife and I are working in the garden. She's picking green beans and I was weeding around the peppers. I thought mmmmm a ripe pepper. I picked it and was wiping it off on my shirt. She sees me.
"What are you eating now"?
"A pepper"
"Whatever"
She goes back to picking. bite the end. "Hmmm good flavor, just a little spicy."
Another bite. Not bad. I like these.
The last bite and I toss the stem. As I chew the heat increases. Uh oh. It wasn't painfully hot just really uncomfortable. Wait, now my lips are burning.
I tell her I'm going in to get the camera. I nonchalantly walk to the house. Step inside and go straight to the ice cream. One big spoonful did the trick.
"What are you eating now"?
